Detailed description is S-CORE is a five-piece power core band from Strasbourg (France). "INTO THE DEEPEST..." out now! http://www.dirty8.com/store/index.php/albums/s-core-into-the-deepest.php.C’est au mois d’octobre 1998 que l’aventure S-core débute.Le groupe s’est formé sur les cendres de plusieurs groupes strasbourgeois dont notamment M.A.F et No way out. En un peu moins de 2 ans, le power-core que pratique S-CORE a vite fait de calmer les esprits dans le grand est et en Allemagne ou ils ont été accueillis avec les honneurs en gagnant le tremplin inter-Allemagne du Kabarock T.Festival. La démo 4 titres « Fat and wet » voit le jour au courant du mois de Février 2001.Les 600 exemplaires de ce premier opus seront rapidement épuisés. Des changements de line-up multiples vont bousculer l’avancée de la machine. C’est après l’intégration de deux membres de Bloodshed, une autre formation strasbourgeoise et l’arrivée d’un nouveau bassiste que S-core trouve enfin sa composition actuelle. S’en suive l’enregistrement d’un titre « Us » qui figurera sur la compilation « Trapped in yourself » et une multitude de concerts à travers l’hexagone pendant l’année suivante qui atteste bien de l’énorme capacité de ce groupe dans ses prestations live.. 2003 restera sûrement l’année du tournant pour le groupe puisqu’ils donnent naissance à leur premier album « Riot…Process engaged » (M10/Dirty8) avec ni plus ni moins que Stéphane Buriez aux manettes…Cet album, sorti à la date du 4 novembre 2003, a énormément marqué de son empreinte le paysage musical français, dépourvu de ce genre de groupe explosif aussi bien sur disque que sur scène…Des riffs ultra efficaces, une rythmique sur vitaminée et un chant des plus contrôlé font de S-CORE la nouvelle valeur sûre du métal !!!. Les tournées s’enchaînent donc rapidement et, pendant plus de 2 ans, le groupe écume les salles de France et se fait vite connaître en Allemagne et dans les pays de l’Est. . En Juin 2007, le groupe achève une longue période de composition et est enfin prêt à retourner en studio, à Budapest / The Bakery, pour donner naissance au successeur de ‘Riot…Process Engaged’ ; ’Gust Of Rage’. Une chose est sûre, S-core n’en restera pas là et continuera à écumer les salles en 2008. Affaire à suivre…
