Basic Rules and Guidelines.
.
• RUN 4 LOVE WILL BE A 5D FORMAT (1/2 second splits).
• Entry fees are left to the discretion of race producers..
• Membership dues are $50.00 annually, $25.00 for additional horse.
Little Tykes membership $25.00 annually.
• For insurance purposes all contestants must be members.
If not a member must pay $5.00 non-membership fee per race..
• Membership dues will run from Monday following finals until conclusion of finals the following year..
• Members will receive a numbered membership card..
• Must be a member to run at finals.
• Same horse/rider combo must compete at 5 races to compete at finals..
• Little Tykes: Must be 10 years or younger and CANNOT compete in any other race class at that race.
Helmets mandatory..
• 60 second time limit for time onlies, if over additional $5.00 charge will be assessed..
• 3 minute time limit to get horse into arena, or turnout.
NO REFUND!.
• It is mandatory that every member/owner/area operator or individual including but not limited to family or friends observe an attitude of professionalism and good sportsmanship with courtesy to other participants and arena operators at all times.
Participants found to be in violation will be charged a fine of $25.00 and/or suspension, the fine must be paid prior to next race.
If not paid he/she will be ineligible to compete at future races.
Any complaints should be brought to the event producer first in a professional manner.
If said dispute is not resolved then complaint shall be filed in writing with Run 4 Love Barrel Racing in a timely manner.
If dispute has no bearing on Run 4 Love Barrel Racing itself, then it will be handled between disputing parties and/or producer..
• Each knocked down barrel is a 5 second penalty and therefore is a no time.
Should a barrel be knocked over and it sets up on opposite end, the 5 second penalty will still be assessed..
• Time will begin and stop when contestant crosses the start/finish line..
• No schooling during competition runs will be allowed (ie turning barrels more than once) or a $25.00 fine will be assessed, fines must be paid prior to next race..
• Horses may only be entered ONCE at any given Run 4 Love barrel race.
Reruns will not be allowed.
The only exception is in the event of a timer malfunction..
• If the electric eye fails during a riders run and there is no back up watch, the rider has the CHOICE of a rerun at the riders and arena operators discretion.
If the person chooses not to run they will receive a refund less any fees.
It is the riders responsibility to immediately notify the arena operator if they request not to rerun..
• Dress Code: long sleeve shirt, cowboy hat or helmet, boots, If enforcing a dress code it must be advertised..
• ANY CONTESTANT WHO ABUSES AN ANIMAL WHILE IN COMPETITION ARENA OR ANYWHERE ON EVENT GROUNDS MAY BE DISQUALIFIED BY THE PRODUCER AT THEIR DISCRETION AND FACE SUSPENSION BY RUN 4 LOVE BARREL RACING ORGANIZATION..
