Detailed description is Rotary Club de Mococa O Rotary Club de Mococa foi fundado em 31 de março de 1963 e teve como club padrinho o Rotary Club de Campinas Norte. Nossas reuniões são realizadas as Quintas-Feiras as 20:30 na sede do Club na AV. Reis Magos ,420 - Mococa-SP.. . Otavio Pinto Filho, de saudosa memoria, mocoquense residindo em Campinas , promoveu aqui uma runião com um grupo de mocoquenses com o objetivo de fundar um Rotary Cluble. Explicou, percebeu entusiasmo, marcou uma nova reunião. No meio do tempo, o Vigario da Paroquia interfiriu: "O Rotary não è reconhecido pela Igreja... Resultado: Na segunda reunião ninguém compareceu . O projeto Rotary evaporou. Passado tempo, e agora sob as bençãos do Papa, voltaram os Campineiros do clube Campinas Norte: Barros Pimentel, Cheda, Risk, Pedroso, Adalto e outros. Missão certa delegada pelo então governador Mangeon: fundar o Rotary Club de Mococa. E vieram outras vezes doutrinar; alegres, idealistas, incansáveis e companheiros.. . Eram 33, dos quais muitos já nos deixaram e que por certo estarão nas alturas de Deus . A eles a nossa reverencia primeira. O nosso preito de saudade. Hoje, na ativa ,restam dois :Wilker e Amato .. . Estava fundado em 31 de março de 1963, o Rotary Clube de Mococa .. . O Rotary Mocoquense foi oficializado : admissão em Rotary Internacional em 16 de junho de 1964 , com reconhecimento da Carta Constitutiva em 26 de setembro desse mesmo ano, no mandato do presidente Carlindo Paroli.. . Começava a aventura de 33 homens pelas avenidas rotárias, desdobrados em Comissões e atendendo às diretrizes do primeiro Conselho Diretor, sob o Comando de Antonio Pimentel Tavares. Superadas as dificuldades de um clube novo :inexperiência , falta de aparelhagem, de assimilação da filosofia de Rotary e, principalmente, caldeamento de 33 homens adultos, cada um com personalidade, tendências, preferências religiosas e políticas, de culturas variadas , o Rotary mocoquense começou a sua brilhante trajetória.. . Os Rotarianos vem atuando em todos os campos e setores da comunidade como pequenas abelhas que voam, volteiam, fundam uma colmeia e produzem mel. Incansáveis e diligentes não se importaram só com grandes obras , mas ainda com interesse de pequenos préstimos que são, também, bons serviços . . .
