Detailed description is Willkommen auf der OFFIZIELLEN Facebook Seite von Ron-Robert Zieler.Der junge Keeper wusste schon früh, was er wollte: Nachdem er in der Kindheit und Jugend für Kölner Vereine den Kasten sauber gehalten hatte, wurde er bereits mit 16 Jahren von Manchester United auf die Insel geholt. Unter Sir Alex Ferguson trainierte Zieler bis 2010 bei ManU mit einem Jahr Ausleihe nach Northampton. Nach einer Verletzung konnte Zieler nicht mehr so regelmäßig auf dem Platz stehen wie er gerne gewollt hätte, sodass er im Sommer 2010 ablösefrei zu den Roten wechselte. Seit Januar 2011 ist Ron-Robert Stammtorwart bei 96 und trägt ab dieser Saison die Nummer 1 auf dem Trikot.. . Zusätzlich war er jahrelang Mitglied der "U-Nationalmannschaften", gewann 2008 mit einem 3:1 im Finale gegen Italien mit Deutschlands U19 den EM-Titel und erreichte mit der U-20 als Stammkeeper in der Junioren-WM 2009 in Ägypten das Viertelfinale. Am 19. August 2011 wurde Ron zum ersten Mal in die A-Nationalmannschaft des DFB berufen, beim 3:3 in Kiew gegen die Ukraine feierte er am 11. November 2011 sein viel beachtetes Debüt im Tor des A-Teams. Der Höhepunkt eines steilen Aufstiegs im Jahr 2011!
