O Memorial Getúlio Vargas e a Praça Luís de Camões, na Glória, irão sediar o evento “Rio! A Cultura dos Cariocas”, com programação gratuita que inclui música, dança, performances, artes visuais, circo, batalha de dançarinos de rua, oficinas, futebol, skate e uma grande instalação sonora visual.

A criatividade urbana e popular de diversas tribos da cidade estará presente na praça, que ganhará uma identidade visual inédita com a marca RIO!, tendo por base imagens de grafite capturadas nas ruas da cidade, com obras de Marcelo SWK, Rafel Uzai, Eduardo Denne, André Kaja, Nicolau Mello, entre outros.

Painéis montados na praça serão pintados em um trabalho progressivo coordenado pelo artista Airá O Crespo, que convidará outros grafiteiros especialmente para o projeto.
O público poderá dar sua contribuição e se aventurar na arte do grafite, e ter objetos pessoais customizados pelos artistas do spray.

Dentro do Memorial Getúlio Vargas, Jair de Souza criou um ambiente com 60 cadeiras de praia coloridas, para o público assistir a uma videoinstalação sonora, projetada em cinco grandes painéis, com diversas imagens, mostrando o carioca em sua múltipla expressão urbana..
