He is also the founder of the Love Wins Community Engagement Center, where they fight homelessness by building community. . . Hugh spends much of his time writing, speaking, and consulting. His writing has appeared in the Washington Post, Sojourner’s, The Huffington Post and on Tony Campolo’s Red Letter Christians, and he has appeared on everything from NPR’s Morning Edition to Fox News to CNN and Al Jazeera. He lectures at a wide range of universities and colleges, including Duke, Campbell University, Antioch College and Swarthmore College.. . Hugh has been married to his wife Renee for seven years. They live in downtown Raleigh, where they are trying to love their neighbors and are co-parenting 4 chickens, two cats and about 20,000 bees.
