The Renaissance program was implemented to give students positive rewards for academic achievement and good behavior.
The rewards will be announced as the program progresses throughout the year, culminating in the Renaissance Banquet Tuesday evening of Graduation Week..
Student rewards may include various activities, passes, field trips, certificates, et cetera..
Students who maintain a 3.0 GPA for two consecutive semesters (tabulated each spring semester) may attend the Renaissance Awards Banquet, if they meet the following requirements:.
1. Student must have no ISS (In-school suspension) during the school year..
2. Student must have no OSS (Out of school suspension) during the school year..
3. No more than 3 D-halls in the current school year..
4. Students must participate in community service as directed by the sponsor; ninth grade inductees participate by serving at the banquet..
*Other instances of inappropriate behavior as determined by the sponsor and administration my warrant ineligibility from the Renaissance Program..
Senior students who have not meet the requirements exactly may appeal to the sponsor.
The appeal process requires documentation from teachers, and may require extra duties (community service) to fulfill the obligation--although, not all appeals are granted.

Renaissance Hall of Fame.
Students meeting the above criteria for four consecutive year’s 9-12 grade may be eligible for the Hall of Fame.
Students wishing to participate must also:.
1. Meet the Arkansas Academic Challenge Core curriculum.
2. Maintain a 3.0 GPA (Cumulative) .
3. Participate in four or more school related functions..
4. Participate in two or more outside of school functions..
5. No ISS or OSS 9-12 grade*.
Students who meet the Renaissance Hall of Fame will wear honor cords at graduation.
