Detailed description is One child at at time.....We are currently seeking individuals who wish to sponsor an orphan. It costs $100 per child per month. Our Story: Charles & Terri McEndree travelled to Haiti in April of 2010, 4 months after Port au Prince suffered a devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake on January 12, 2010. They were very touched by the suffering and devastation that was left in the wake of the quake. Terri is an OB/GYN physician and Charles is a registered nurse and hospital purchasing director. They decided that they would like to find some way to help others, since the need was so great. While they were there, amidst the devastation, they found individuals wanting to help in small ways to find relief for those suffering around them. They also admired the fortitude and the resilience of the Haitian people, who were so grateful for even the tiniest amounts of assistance. . . Their translator was Marc Arthur Francois. Marc, his brother Jonny, and many of their friends were doing what they could to help relief organizations bring hope to individuals one at a time. Eventually Marc and his friends developed an organization called “Deliverance Pour Tous”(DT) which means Relief for All. DT travelled around the Port au Prince area teaching Churches and individuals how to conduct first aid, perform CPR, and care for the sick. . . When Charles and Terri returned to Haiti in March 2012, Marc and DT expressed the idea of getting involved in an orphanage to help some of the nearly 1 million orphans in Haiti. Relief for Kids was able to obtain a home in August 2012 and started Soulajman Pou timoun in Delmas, Port au Prince, Haiti. . . A house was secured in September, 2012 and we began to build. One child at a time.
