Detailed description is We are a small home business that sell Northern themed photos. We are open to suggestions and special orders anytime, please feel free to send a message. Derrick Anderson has been in the North for over 20 years and has taken pictures of all the sights he came upon. He has been published numerous times over the years in publications such as Nunatsiaq News, News North, and Up Here. He was one of the winners of a contest regarding Inuit principles through Nunavut Tunngivak Inc. He has had his DVDs bought and presented to officials in Argentina so that they could see what beauty is here. Besides his photography, he has carved, painted, and has drawn prints.. . I met him in 2007 when I moved here from Nova Scotia. I was told within the first six months to contact Derrick and ask him if I could get a DVD from him because the pictures on it were beautiful and I could share them with my family.. . We became a couple some time later and our union created many things. One of these things was the mutual want to own a company. Our business partnership became official in April 2010. My contribution was the organizational and accounting side of things. I have always wanted to be my own boss.. . We consider ourselves to be a hobby business and have been enjoying selling locally. We are putting this page up to "see what happens".. . For those who don't know about the Arctic.... we live inside the Arctic Circle on Victoria Island in Nunavut (which is part of Canada). We are above the treeline, endure weeks of no sun rises and weeks of no sun sets. Our town consists of approximately 1500 people, most of which are Inuit.. . We would love to sell all over the world. We are limited on what we accept for payment (cheques or bank transfers). There are no courier services here so we are limited to using the local post office for our shipping needs and we will charge the cost of shipping back to the order. Our main focus is northern themed photos printed in many formats, however; we have also decided to add other albums filled with photos of other places we have enjoyed.
