Detailed description is This Memorial is being created to honor all Veterans from the Red River Valley Area.
This Memorial will be built on the south side of the Love Civic Center, next to the Eiffel Tower.
The main focus will be the "Ring of Honor" which will be a ring of granite walls with the names of the veterans who are from the Red River Valley Area (Lamar, Fannin, Red River, Delta Counties in Texas & Choctaw, County in Oklahoma) that gave the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country in a war zone.
There will be sidewalks leading to the "Ring of Honor" made up of 1' x 2' granite pavers that are purchased to honor any veteran who served or is currently serving in the U.S.
Armed Forces.
Throughout the memorial there will be benches or ornamental trees that can be purchased to honor whole families or groups of veterans.
There are “Specialty Pavers” that are 2’ x 2’ granite pavers that can be purchased by individuals, businesses, groups or organizations that recognize their appreciation to all veterans in general, that lead from the parking lot to the front gate of the memorial.
