When R2H began there were 65 students and now there are 325.
R2H is committed to education and developing sustainability for this rural village school..

Our USA Board of Directors are volunteers.
All donations go to The Gambia.
We have a Gambia Director who handles all communications, purchases all materials and gets everything delivered to the school.
Our Orchard/ Garden Project funded a dedicated, fenced land area for fruit trees, cashew trees and a large school garden.
Not only does the garden help supplement school lunches, the proceeds of fruit and vegetable sales enables the people to give back.
And they do that with great enthusiasm and joy! Its exciting and humbling to see the changes being made in the village of Burong..
