With over 35 yrs experience in art and teaching, Debi is currently accepting new students at her studio Purple Moon Arts in Sydney.
Previously, she operated the successful DM Couture Studio from 1992-2006..
Debi has been an active member of the art community since 1974.
From 1980-84 she was the designer and co-owner of Cape Breton Apple Dolls.
She was also an active member of the CB Artist’s Association from 1974-2003, serving as their treasurer from 2001-2003.
In 2004, she was co-director of the Insight Gallery, as well as being a member of Artscape Breton, Cape Breton Center for Arts and Design and VANS..
Over the years, Debi displayed her work in various juried, invitational and group shows, in addition to annual shows with her students.
Her work hangs in private collections across Canada, USA and Europe..
