The Purple Martin Conservation Association is the only organization devoted exclusively to the scientific study of Purple Martins, their biology, and habitat requirements. Since our formation in 1987, we've spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on research, education, and on developing and improving products for martin conservation.. . We are a non-profit, tax-exempt organization and 85% of the money we generate through memberships and sales of martin products is used for educational programs, conservation projects, and scientific research. We are affiliated with the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania through its Department of Continuing Education..
