Very First Spanish Immersion in Merced, CA The very first Spanish Immersion program Merced has to offer.
Super excited to get this program out to the community! Through the grace of God, we have succeeded in bringing this opportuinity to Merced.
The program is a Spanish biliteracy, bilingual and bicultural education platform where students will be taught starting in Kindergarten in Spanish and as they move through the grades more and more English will be introduced so by the time they are in the 5th grade they are bilingual and biliterate in both Spanish and English.
The ultimate goal is a seal of biliteracy for each student in the 12th grade which earns them 8 college credits, but that is many years down the road.
