1998 yılında Carnegie Mellon Üniversitesi'nde Kamu Yönetimi alanında 2003 yılında da İstanbul Üniversitesi Uluslararası İlişkiler alanında yüksek lisansını tamamlamıştır..

2002 yılında Marmara Üniversitesi Kamu Yönetimi alanında doktorasını tamamlamış "Küreselleşme ve Küresel Kent Kavramı: New York, Londra, İstanbul Kentlerindeki Sosyo-Ekonomik Gelişim Sürecinin Analizi" başlıklı Doktora Uzmanlık Tezini yazmıştır..
