Bu süre içinde bir yılını “Öğretim üyesi yetiştirme programı” bursu ile Londra/İngiltere’de eğitimde geçirmiştir. 1992 yılında uzmanlık tezini “Anovulatuar ve idiopatik hirsut kadınlarda polikistik overlerin sıklığı” konusunda vermiştir. Akademik kadroya geçmesi 1994 yılında Gazi Üniversitesi Kadın Hastalıkları ve Doğum Anabilim Dalında yardımcı doçentlikle olmuştur.
