Detailed description is Presencias es una oportunidad privilegiada de presenciar en nuestro campus una experiencia cultural rica del más alto nivel de excelencia. . El pasado año académico 2014-2015 nos dejó un inmenso legado cultural con el inicio de Presencias: Proyecto Integral de Cultura del Recinto Universitario de Mayagüez. Se presentaron 20 eventos de altura que contaron con una gran acogida, tanto de lo colegiales como de la comunidad. El lleno en todas esas instancias, evidencia la importancia de los espacios artísticos y culturales en el entorno universitario. Precisamente, la misión de esta iniciativa es enriquecer a nuestros estudiantes para que su excelencia educativa también incluya la sensibilidad necesaria para apreciar la música, el cine, y el teatro, entre otras manifestaciones del arte.. . Es así, que con el grato recuerdo del primer año de este proyecto, les invitamos a la Tercera Temporada de Presencias. En esta ocasión, con un especial evento inaugural titulado ¡Tanguísimo! De Gardel a Piazzolla, con la participación del virtuosísimo argentino Richard Scofano, interpretando el bandoneón, acompañado de Alfredo Minetti en el piano. Será el jueves, 24 de septiembre a las 8:00 p.m. en el Anfiteatro Ramón Figueroa Chapel, una fecha especial, que coincide con las festividades del centésimo cuarto aniversario del Recinto.. . La agenda, que contiene música, teatro, conferencias y un cine foro, incluye un concierto con el Coro de Niños de San Juan y Chorium, agrupación coral del Recinto, galardonada en el Festival CantaRode de Holanda. Este se llevará a cabo el domingo, 1ro de noviembre, a las 3:00 p.m., en el Teatro Yagüez.. . La jornada concluye el viernes, 4 de diciembre, a las 8:00 p.m., frente al edificio José De Diego con un Homenaje a Tony Croatto en el concierto titulado Yo soy tuyo, Puerto Rico con la participación de Silverio Pérez, Hermes y Alejandro Croatto.. .
