Picking Up Your Mail/Packages:.
A notification email will be sent to your Pratt email address (from donotreply@cbsitoday.com) for packages which need to be picked up from the Mail Center counter.

NOTE: Wait for an email before coming to the Mail Center to pick up a package.
Not only does it take time for us to sort through our shipments, but carriers will mark items as delivered to zip code (i.e.
not Pratt) up to 24 hours in advance.

Things You Should Know:.
• Your Pratt ID is the only accepted ID in the Mail Center..
• The Mail Center will not deliver any packages to anyone except the recipient of the package..
• You are the only one allowed to receive mail/packages to your mailbox.
Do not let others use it..
• The only way that a letter or package can be traced is if it is sent by registered, insured, certified/return receipt or delivery confirmation mail.
Letters/packages with postage only cannot be traced..
• Check your mail often.
Mail which is not picked up after 15 business days is returned to sender..
• Place any mail which doesn’t belong to you in our ‘Returned Mail’ slot.
This is generally mail for students of years past, and we will handle it accordingly..
• DO NOT SEND CASH THROUGH THE MAIL, Gift cards, pre-paid Visa/MasterCard, or money orders should be used in case of lost or stolen they can be traced, cancelled and eventually be replaced..

Handling of business mails for the Institute’s faculty, staff and students residing in campus dorms, which include sorting and distributing of all campus mail, pick up and processing of outgoing mail (metering), and receiving and preparing packages for student pick-up..

A private courier service is available for delivery services between Brooklyn Mail Center and Pratt Manhattan, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
All mail and small packages going to the Manhattan campus must be at the Mail Center a day prior to delivery.
Large quantities or oversized and heavy items must be coordinated through the Receiving department..
United Parcel Service (UPS) Drop Box.
.
UPS express mail drop box is located at the main gate, next to the security booth.
Their pickup time is at 6:30 PM.
Items that do not fit in the drop box may be brought to the Mail Center two hours prior to closing time.
Be advised, Pratt Mail Center does not offer package pickup service, the Receiving department can be contacted for such service..
