Detailed description is PCC offers an Agriculture program that has the great advantage of being located in one of the world's most productive ag regions, south central Kansas.
Students are able to work first-hand with livestock and in production situations instead of just being taught skills and theories in a classroom.
Through a variety of partnerships with area industry, students have opportunities is experience the learning on a near daily basis.This focus on ‘hands-on’ training is apparent in the classroom.
Some course examples are: horseshoeing, horsemanship, equine care and training, livestock production, artificial insemination, meats, welding and repair, horticulture as well as traditional ag classes.
The small class size assures that students are people and get the attention they deserve.
At PCC, students are not just numbers and the faculty and staff ensure that students have a memorable experience in their education..
