With the help of those founding fathers, it has grown into the club we are today.
PTR is an AMA Didstrict 14 chartered competition club, hosting a variety of events including a highly publicized Professional National Race qualifier (the only one in the entire state) in 1978.
In 1999, PTR was awarded Track of the Year by the AMA.
In addition to MX and ATV events, PTR also hosts hare scrambles, an annual AHRMA national race and an annual charity road event.

The PTR facility is spread over 90+ acres, comprised of a 1.5 mile motocross track, a 3.4+ mile hare scramble track and a quarter mile mini-motocross track for the kids.
