We meet upstairs at the Semaphore library every Friday 1:30-3:30pm The Port Adelaide Historical Society has been working to preserve and protect the history of Port Adelaide and environs area since 1972.. . Our collections consist of framed pictures, photographs, maps, books, artefacts and printed ephemera and maritime artefacts dating back to the 19th century. The collections are housed at our Semaphore rooms, our Museum at Peterhead and recorded in stone in the Portonian Walk.. . The Portonian magazine, has been published quarterly and has become a valuable source of Port Adelaide history for historians and researchers.. . Our Semaphore collection, above the Semaphore library is available to the public every Friday 1:30-3:30pm . . Our Museum located at 95 Fletcher Road Peterhead, is open each Sunday from 2:00 pm until 4:00pm
