Detailed description is An idyllic rural barn conversion located a short drive from the popular South Hams’ coastline, Plymouth. Offers spacious pet friendly accommodation. Pool Barn Offers light, bright and tastefully decorated reverse level accommodation with vaulted ceilings and exposed stone, the huge open plan living area is a fantastic feature as well as a great social space in which to plan one of the many popular local day trips. Privately positioned within the owner’s estate, the use of a tennis court and the tranquil surrounding garden and grounds will also undoubtedly delight.. . Guests are spoilt for choice in deciding which sandy beach or sheltered cove to visit first, many of which are within a short drive such as Mothecombe, Bovisand, Wembury and Bigbury-on-Sea. The small villages of Brixton and Yealmpton are within a mile and offer locally renowned pubs, shops and Riverford farm shop. Just a little further on are the quaint waterside villages of Noss Mayo and Newton Ferrers which are a must visit for those who like messing about on boats. The historic city of Plymouth is a 15 minute drive and offers a vast range of attractions and restaurants to include the National Marine Aquarium, The Hoe and Barbican. For those who crave rugged scenery and moorland walks, Dartmoor National Park is also a great day visit. All in all Pool Barn provides an ideal spot for a Devon holiday as well as ultimate peace to relax with friends and family.. . Accommodation:. . Stable door into half-way landing. Steps up to large, light and airy open plan living area. Lounge area to one end with two sofas, TV with full Sky package and DVD player. Dining area with table to comfortably seat six. The superb spacious kitchen at the other end of the living space is equipped with a built-in electric oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher, separate built-in fridge, freezer and washing machine. From the entrance area, four steps lead down to bedrooms. Bedroom 1 with 5ft king bed, chest of drawers and dual aspect windows over the gardens. Bedroom 2 with 5ft king bed with built-in wardrobe and views over the garden. Bedroom 3 with 3ft single bed and built-in wardrobe. Family bathroom with bath with shower over, hand basin, heated towel rail and WC. . . Outside:. . Immediately outside the cottage is a paved patio furnished with a table and chairs – perfect for al fresco dining. A couple of steps lead up to a private grassed area which is partly bordered by shrubs and a fence. Guests are welcome to stroll the surrounding grounds which are home to an abundance of birds and wildlife. Please note the grounds include a stream and a large pond so young children must be supervised. . . Guests are also invited to share the full size tennis court.. . Parking:. .
