Detailed description is Informações, fotos e vídeos do Ponta Grossa Golf Clube Fundado em 30 de Junho de 1982, o Ponta Grossa Golf Clube é fruto da paixão dos entusiastas jogadores japoneses Iukinobu Sumikawa, Mitsuya Nagato, Yoshiaki Okita ("in memorian"), Hiroshi Tsuruda e Nobuo Ishikawa ("in memorian"), Arata Hara, Tatsuo Yamamoto e Toshio Komori, que frequentavam o Clube Curitibano desde 1979..
Localizado em região privilegiada, com vista panorâmica da cidade de Ponta Grossa sobre o campo de golf, foi construído sobre terras doadas pela Família Sumikawa para construção de um campo com 9 buracos, mas com "design" projetado pelos entusiastas fundadores e auxiliados pelo profissional de Golf, então número do ranking brasileiro, Frederico Germam.
O clube atingiu o sucesso raidamente com a associação de diversas empresas, que permitiu a construção da sede social do clube, com estilo único, valorizando o que o clube tem de mais bonito: A natureza..
Em meados de 1992, com ajuda de diversos sócios, foram adquiridas áreas adjacentes ao clube para ampliá-lo para 15 buracos.
Em 2004, alguns sócios adquiriram outra área adjacente que permitiu a construção de outros 3 buracos, permitindo ao campo ser Oficial (18 buracos).
A partir de 2013, a gestão do Clube passou a ter conotação empresarial, com a elaboração de Planejamento Estratégico, contratação de Gerencia, e aplicação de técnicas consagradas mundialmente para manutenção do campo.
