Its peaceful setting in the Broadland village of Barton Turf is ideally situated to cater for all tastes. For wildlife lovers, Red Deer, Muntjac, Fox, Hare, Marsh Harrier, Hen Harrier, Bittern and Swallowtail Butterfly are among the many species that have been spotted on the farm, and are something to look out for on our private footpath through a wild flower meadow containing various species of wild Orchids. There are also many footpaths around the area for those wishing to explore further. Access to the river which leads to Barton Broad is only a few minutes away.. . Norfolk and Broadland has many other attractions to offer. Wroxham, the very heart of the Norfolk Broads, is only 4 miles away. There you can find a selection of riverside restaurants, pubs and shops as well as Roys, who boast the 'largest village store in the world'. At Wroxham you can explore the waterways by motor launch hired by the hour or day, or you can take the train on the 'Bittern Line' as far the coastal town of Sheringham in North Norfolk.
