Detailed description is Plainsview Ranch is a 2500+ working cattle ranch owned and operated by Lonnie & Joyce Starke. They are once again opening their home/location to share their peaceful prairie experience with others who love the outdoors. Established in 2000, Lonnie and Joyce first started sharing their prairie home by offering weekend hunting packages, beginning in 2001. As their family grew, they took a break from the bed and breakfast business for a number of years. With their children now grown, they are ready to once again open their home to those who love the great outdoors of western Nebraska! . . Currently we are only set up for limited package experiences. Contact us for current availability. Primitive camping sites (RVs and campers welcome, however we currently have no water or electric hook ups, and campground area has not yet been improved for level sites at this time) are also located on the property. The pool courtyard is an amenity available to all guests and features: 20 X 60 ft. pool - no lifeguard (all children must be accompanied by an adult while in pool); fire pit; multi-level gazing pond; "Cabezo" (enclosed cabin-like gazebo equipped with satellite TV and surround sound); patio grill area. The Backyard Retreat is also an amenity available to all guests and features a picnic shelter with extra large charcoal grill and pergola with fire-pit/grill area. A small laundry facility (one washer and one dryer) located in the back of the pool house is also available to all guests.. . Coming soon:. We hope to eventually have electric and water hook up sites for campers/RV's. We are also anticipating building shower houses/restrooms for the campground, and possibly a few rental cabins. . Hopefully starting next year, we will have two bedrooms available in the main house; one room with two queen beds and one with one queen bed, as well as the pool house loft area which has a queen bed and two twin beds.
