Classroom instruction is offered at levels from beginning to advanced.
Classes are designed to help improve English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
All ELA courses help learners develop life skills required for living and working in the United States..
Classes at the Leslie Building of Pitt Community College's main campus are offered year round, Monday - Thursday.
Most classes are 8:00 a.m.
- 12:00 p.m.
and 6:00 p.m.
- 9:00 p.m.
Instruction is given at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels..
Specialized courses are also available and include a language lab for individualized instruction, TOEFL preparation, citizenship and distance learning to supplement classroom instruction.
Other classes are offered in the community depending on demand.
