Detailed description is Mother and Daughter Hobby Shop. We started making homemade Bath Balms a few months ago for gifts. Joyce's Grandmother was known as "The Soap Lady." Mother and Daughter Hobby Shop was started to give us more time together. The importance of family is a must in my world. Back in the early years, my Grandmother Mildred Welch was know as, "The Soap Lady." She made homemade lye soap. My grandfather used it and started to grow back some hair that he had lost having to raise 10 children. I wanted to carry on her trade, so I decided to start making soap. Today, soap is made in a different way then back years ago. I am trying to keep her memory alive by doing what she loved to do. As for my daughter, I love standing next to her and watch as she creates her bath balms. She adds glitter, soap and even small sponge animals to them just to make them different. We enjoy our little hobbies and time spent together!
