Any kit can be made into a boy or a girl, and customers choose the skin tone, eye color, and hair color (if applicable) for your custom doll.
Each one comes with a magnetic pacifier, blanket, diaper, outfit, bow (girl) or hat (boy), and birth certificate signed by the artist..

Layaways are 30 days with a $75 deposit (Bountiful Baby) or $100 deposit (German Vinyl/Specialty).
There are NO REFUNDS on deposits or damaged items..

SOME BASICS ABOUT PINK GLITTER ART DOLLS:.

*Dolls are made with soft skin-like vinyl heads/limbs and weighted, stuffed doe suede bodies.
They are painted in many layers over many hours for the ultimate in realistic features including veining, capillaries, mottling, skin texture, glossing on lips/nails, and blushing.
We only use Genesis heat set paints, which is standard practice for our industry.
However, it can rub off and wear down if the vinyl is not handled gently or cared for properly.
They are weighted to feel like a real baby when held.
Prices and layette will vary depending on the doll.

please keep in mind that Pink Glitter Art Dolls ("reborns") cost much more than a regular store-bought doll because they are handmade (every hair placed one at a time, paint applied in many layers) and the kits, clothing, and materials used to make them are costly..

*Most importantly, THESE DOLLS ARE HANDMADE COLLECTOR'S ITEMS.
They must be handled with care by both young and old alike! If you, as a parent, believe your child will not handle a doll gently, we recommend that you wait until they are old enough to care for one properly before you order.
They are not intended for children, but we leave that to the discretion of the parent.
Buying a doll for a child is doing so at your own risk.
They can always be put on a shelf to display a special outfit and look pretty out of reach until your child is old enough to be careful!.

*What we mean by "CAREFUL": We intend for our dolls to be enjoyed and handled gently, BUT when we say careful, we mean that dolls are to be held like real babies, head supported, no picking them up by the limbs; dolls should not be submerged in water or wiped with any sort of wet baby wipes, which can damage the paint and cause staining- if vinyl becomes damp and rubs against fabric that is dark in color, leeching can occur and ruin your doll.
Holding, changing outfits, pretend diaper changes/feeding, are all normal activities to do with a doll..

*WEAR AND TEAR is normal, even with the most careful of mommies.
Please do not freak out if something happens...
limbs and heads DO come off from time to time! However, they are super easy to fix...
All you need are some cable ties or heavy duty string, and they are easily repaired at home.
