It was an initiative of a group of young and enthusiastic people to create an organization which would encourage safe sexual relations and foster human rights protection. “Public Information and Need of Knowledge” NGO is more known as PINK, by its English abbreviation. We call it PINK Armenia to differ us from similar organizations around the world.. Starting from the very first day of our functioning, we lead activities to increase public awareness about sexual and reproductive health and rights, sexually transmitted infections and HIV/AIDS. In the sphere of human rights protection PINK Armenia promotes the ideas of equality and acceptance of vulnerable groups. We want to bring into being acceptance and appreciation of diversity in our society through encouraging cultural sensitivity, acceptance and through eliminating any kind of discrimination..
