The Texas Tech Personal Financial Planning (PFP) Program is one of the top-rated PFP programs in the United States. Established by leaders with a vision of the need to focus financial knowledge on families and the achievement of their goals, our passion is “educating the next generation of personal financial advisors.” In addition to CFP Board-Registered degrees at the BS, MS, and PhD levels, we offer dual MS degrees with Law, Accounting, and MBA. Additionally, we offer an Accelerated Bachelor's to Master's program, a graduate certificate in Charitable Financial Planning and an undergraduate minor in Personal Finance. More information is available at www.pfp.ttu.edu.. . The PFP department features 15 full-time faculty, approximately 140 undergraduate majors, 80 master’s students, and 57 doctoral students. There are also approximately 1,300 students per semester taking basic personal finance courses, with nearly 100 of those students completing the minor in personal finance.
