Ralph & AnnaMarie were both born and raised near Newark, NJ, also known as "down neck." While Ralph grew up in Bloomfield, Ann grew up in Nutley.
They each come from a long line of Italian heritage- including the Anzevinos, Pepes, Confortis, and Amoscotos - and along with those names comes a unique love for cooking!.

Ralph and Ann were high school sweethearts, and they were married in 1981.
They moved to Brick, NJ in 1985 and have been there ever since.
Raising two children, dinner was always the most important time of the day.
That was when everyone would be in the kitchen together- whether helping to prep the meal (making the salad, stirring the gravy, taste testing the macaroni), setting the table, or helping to clean up.
Dinner was a 5:00 ritual in the Pepe home, when the family came together to sit, relax, talk, and eat!.

Ralph retired from Schering-Plough Pharmaceuticals (where he was a chemist and computer validation specialist) after 30+ years and Ann retired from Brick Schools (were she was a special education teacher's aid) after 20+ years.
Now, they are embarking on a new journey together, doing something they've always dreamed of doing- cooking together for others! .
