Twitter @PegasusArtWorks Pegasus ArtWorks was established at three satellite sites in 2002, with support from the Delaware Division of the Arts, the Criminal Justice Council, and the BGCD. It is important to note that the Pegasus program was the first art program supported by CJC. Since then, Pegasus ArtWorks has expanded from the original three sites to statewide locations, reaching thousands of youth annually. We are always looking for qualified artists to help expand the program further through the state.. . Pegasus ArtWorks focuses on teaching self discipline and critical thinking skills through affirmative interaction with innovative literacy based programming. We provide positive adult role-models while promoting the development of self-esteem through the learning of art skills and public exhibition. Every year Pegasus ArtWorks reaches out to new locations, with the goal of introducing more youth to our challenging art programs, creating life long supporters of the Arts.. . This Pegasus Artworks Program is supported, in part, by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts, a state agency, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts.
