He currently holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from National American University and has served on many boards through-out his career. Some of these local to the Bandon Community include Past President of the Bandon Playhouse and Past Vice-President of the Bandon Youth Soccer Association. Since their return to Bandon, Paul once again was elected to the Bandon Playhouse as President in 2016 and Chairman to the Bandon Arts Council.. . Paul’s passion for supporting the local Bandon community started six years ago when he and Cynthia, his wife of over 22 years, started up Pazaz Printing and Copying Center, which was located where the Bree’s Upscale Resale shop is now. Unfortunately a turn of events lead them away from the community where they closed down the shop and moved to Alaska when Paul was offered a job as Vice President of Marketing for Morris Communications. As things would have it 6 years later, and another turn of events has brought the Hay family back to Bandon, Oregon.. . “We recognize that Bandon does have a couple companies in the area that offer similar services, but with over 15 years in media industry alone, I have learned to believe in the small mom & pop shops. I’ve also learned how to help them either grow or maintain status quo, whichever path they may choose, but offer suggestions in adding a little “Pazaz” to their current marketing plans. She has served on many boards, including Durango High school Booster Club (Secretary), Banks-Tyner Water Board Association (Treasurer), and Bandon Youth Soccer Association (Secretary) just to name a few. Her other volunteer experience includes: Crisis Pregnancy and Adoption counseling, medical testing, and phone hotline and public speaking engagements. AIDS Resource Network and Director of Volunteers for Vacation Bible School (over 100 children).. . Cynthia is a hard working mother of eight children and grandmother to seven beautiful grandchildren. She is an avid reader and loves spending time as a foster mom with local humane societies. In 2012 she was recognized as Foster Family of the Year where she had fostered over 100 animals in one year with the La Plata Human Society in Durango, Colorado.
