We take in Animals who find themselves in high kill shelters and from all around NSW as well as taking on Animal who need to be surrendered by their owners for various reasons.

We run on a foster care system , meaning rather then having a big facility to house all our animals in care and that we could operate adoptions out of, we have opted to place our fur babies into foster homes so that it is a more comfortable and less stressful environment while they await adoption ..

Once an animal comes under the care of Paws Crossed Animal Rescue he/she will not be released from care until they have had all needed vet work completed ( desexing , vaccination , microchipping etc) and a suitable adoptive family is found.
This time frame varies from animal to animal some animals get adopted within days of entering care other can take months, either way we don't mind how long they have to remain in care, each animal stay in care until we have a better understanding of their personality and needs and No Adoptable animal will ever be euthanize..

We accept all types of animals , of all ages we do not discriminate based on an animals breed, looks or age.
Within our first 6 weeks of rescue we have had animals ranging form 3 weeks old ( thats right 3 week old bottle fed babies) to animals 10yrs + .

Animals who are brought into care from other parts of nsw are either collected in person if not too far away or we use the Fantastic Mel Enam at Angry Face Transport to ensure that our fur babies get here safely :).
