Genau auf diesem Wege wurde die Geburtsstunde des „Patio del Sol“ eingeläutet:.

Wir, das sind Adolf Rocha und Victor Ortega, saßen abends beisammen und sinnierten darüber, dass Leipzig durch einen Spanier bereichert werden würde, bei dem man „echtes“ spanisches Essen genießen kann.
Als gebürtige Spanier wünschen wir uns die Authenzität spanischer Köche und originalgetreuer Umsetzung.
So haben wir uns, als Freunde und Geschäftspartner, entschlossen neben der Tätigkeit in unseren eigenen Unternehmen ein eigenes Restaurant zu eröffnen, welches genau das bietet..

Nach einigen kulinarischen Reisen nach Spanien war es uns gelungen, einen Spitzenkoch für unser Vorhaben gewinnen zu können.
Am 15.07.16 war es dann soweit: Der Startschuss für unseren „Patio del Sol“ fiel.
Mit dem historischen Gebäude in der Weißenfelser Straße fiel unsere Wahl auf ein Lokal, welches besser nicht geeignet sein könnte.
Im vorderen Bereich eine Terrasse, nach hinten heraus ein schon üppig bewachsener Garten, in welchem sich zur kommenden Saison noch mehr spanisches Flair widerspiegeln wird.
Ganz wie in Spanien - so viel Zeit wie möglich im Freien zu verbringen, auch das ist hier Credo..
Der Name - übersetzt „Sonnenhof“- trifft den Nagel auf den Kopf in zweierlei Hinsicht: Wenn die Sonne in den Garten scheint, dann fast ganztägig.
Zudem eröffnete an dieser Stelle im Jahre 1888 das heute älteste noch im Original der Gründerzeit erhaltene Gasthaus der Stadt Leipzig gleichen Namens.
Somit schließt sich der Kreis wieder..
Das unverwechselbare Flair haben auch die Filmemacher für sich entdeckt: u.a.
wurden Szenen für den „Tatort“ und „In aller Freundschaft“ hier gedreht..

Die typisch spanische Kinderfreundlichkeit gehört bei uns ebenfalls zum Konzept.
Familien sind uns sehr herzlich willkommen.
