The facility was later purchased in 1989 by Robert & Joyce Newton, owners of Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. Who renovated and transformed the facility to provide an elegant and modern space where the Michiana community could gather to enjoy concerts, banquets, weddings and local events. . . In November 2016, KR Palmer and Kerry Palmer purchased the Newton center and renamed it Palmer Community Complex.
