COURSES OFFERED.
“General Course” & “Certificate Course” for Bharata Natyam.
The minimum age for the general course is 6 and the minimum duration of the course is of 2 to 3 years with a yearly assessment.
The course is an ongoing process ,the duration of which can be extended..
Certificate Course for the International Certification of Dance Studies given by the CID (International Dance Council, Headquarters, UNESCO, Paris).
It has 5 levels.
At the end of each level, a Certificate will be given after 150 hours of dance classes in a year have been completed @ of 3 dance classes per week.
For those who want an intensive course, the 150 hours can be completed in 6 months.
For each Certificate Course the student will have to appear for an Audition at any point of time in the year and will have the freedom to re-appear..
Each level of the Certificate Course follows a specific syllabus and contains yearly examinations for practical and theory both.
The student has to register for the examination.
It is the tradition of the establishment to have a panel of experts from different fields to evaluate..
