Detailed description is DLP offers adult education at a distance, free of charge, to PA residents who qualify for the program. DLP is a partnership between the PA Department of Education, Division of Adult Education, and Tuscarora Intermediate Unit 11 Community Education Services. DLP is currently the only PDE-funded adult distance learning provider in the Commonwealth of PA.. . DLP currently has 13 instructors, 8 of whom are in-house, and 5 of whom work from various locations around the state, to support learners in reaching their goals. The staff is experienced in adult education, technology, curriculum design, training, and case management. . . DLP currently serves approximate 250 PA adult learners who are studying to pass the GED(r) test, or to prepare for the workplace, job training programs, or post secondary education.. . DLP adult learners work in 6-week sessions, online or in a workbook, at their own paces, and in the privacy of their own homes, with support from their instructors.
