Detailed description is Oregon State University Pistol Club teaches students, faculty & staff how to safely & accurately shoot bullseye pistol at our very own Indoor Target Range. We also have a Pistol Team that competes here in the Willamette Valley & once a year nationally. The Oregon State University Pistol Club is a student run recreational sport club founded in 1948 and is under the Department of Recreational Sports. The club encourages organized pistol target shooting among students, faculty and staff, with a view towards better knowledge of the safe handling and proper care of firearms, as well as improved marksmanship. No previous firearm experience is required to participate and OSU Pistol Club provides all necessary equipment.
