The one.TLC School has been in existence for 22 years and over . 7000 children have attended the school. . The school moved in 2009 to its new location at 22 S. Van Buren Street in Stockton and thanks to so many in the community, who have offered their support, the students and staff are enjoying their new location.. . What we do:. The school is operated by the SJ County of Education, in collaboration with Stockton Unified and the one.TLC Foundation, with support from United Way. The children receive individual instruction to prepare them to transfer to a traditional school when they are no longer in a homeless situation. Our students show a documented growth of 1 to 3 years in reading after 60 days. . . A donation to a child's education is an investment in all of our futures. The cost to our foundation to provide educational support services, new clothing, shoes, school and hygiene supplies, counseling, transportation and special events is approximately $1000 per child..
