Detailed description is We love our chicks and roosters! Everyday is a "Easter Egg Hunt" at our farm. We gather close to 28,000 eggs daily during peak season. I inherited this land in 2004 when my daddy died and had rented to a local farmer, but wanted to move up there and fulfill a lifelong dream of having a home on this property. My husband and I decided to check into the poultry business after helping out some friends a few days who have breeder houses. After getting financed at the bank and checking with several breeder companies we met with the breeder manager of Equity Group and "hit it off" with him. Before you knew it....we were in business. The builders started on 5/30/2014 and we got our first flock of birds on 8/17/2014. Everyday we get to hunt for eggs and we love it!
