We are a Christian church, and claim Jesus Christ as our only head. We are a Protestant church, and are covenant members of The United Church of Christ. . . We are a thinking person’s church. We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we surely are good at posing the questions. We may disagree on the answers, but a strong part of our history and foundation includes the belief that everyone is entitled to his or her opinion, and that we don’t need to have a cookie-cutter set of beliefs in order to be a faithful Christian. . . We are a seeking person’s church. We delight in seeking out what it means to be a faithful Christian in today’s world, in studying what the writers of the Bible intended in their day, and in what those words could possibly mean to us in ours. . .
