Detailed description is A organization that offers a free, one day program for fourth graders to gain experience, understanding and the appreciation of local agricultural.
Okeechobee County Ag-Venture, Inc., an organization that offers a free one day program which provides a great opportunity for fourth graders (public, private and home schooled) to gain experience, understanding and the appreciation of our local agricultural industry.
Ag-venture is a new, exciting way to educate area children on the importance of agriculture, using a hands-on approach targeted to their level.

This program is free to all students and executed by volunteers.
We operate on donations.
These donations cover the cost of the facilities, materials for the 12 stations, student bus transportation, Ag-Venture t-shirts and bags for each student and volunteer, as well as the volunteer & student lunch.
Volunteers are the key to our success.
About 100 volunteers are needed..
Ag commodity groups, businesses, organizations and individuals join in a partnership to make.
