is responsible for equipment and fleet maintenance, snow removal and the maintenance of 67 miles of roadways, 125 miles of storm water improvements, 12 miles of canals.
In addition we provide general maintenance on the facilities such as the Main administration building, public works building and yards, the Community Center, the Country Club, Beach Club, and Yacht Club, two marinas, the Pine’eer crafts building, five swimming pools with accessory buildings, two tennis complexes, several basketball courts, two ball fields, a soccer field, several lakes, numerous other parks and playgrounds, and several miles of walking and biking paths..

The Ocean Pines Public Works Department is responsible for:.
Drainage ditch cleaning and 125 miles of storm water improvements, 12 miles of canals (bulkhead replacement, buoys, aerators), along with several lakes, maintenance of all facilities: Administration and Police building, Public Works building and yard, Community Center, Country Club, Beach Club, Yacht Club, two marinas, craft building, five swimming pools, two tennis complexes, two ballfields, a soccer field, and several parks and playgrounds.

Grass cutting of ditches and easements throughout Ocean Pines (April – October).
