Sifu Jeff is a dedicated practitioner of the martial arts. Sifu Jeff started doing martial arts over 30 years ago and is Nationally certified in Brazilian Jiu jitsu, Muay Thai, Western Boxing, Eskrima, Tai chi and Qigong.. "I am most passionate about helping people reach levels they never thought possible. Martial arts are great for fitness and over all health, but the biggest and most fulfilling changes I have seen throughout the years is witnessing hundreds of students change their lives though this training. They become more confident, enthusiastic, increase their self discipline and desire to better them selves.". Sifu Jeff started teaching in 1988 and after graduating college started up NWFA in 1994. He began teaching out of his basement and at different clubs around Portland. Now NWFA has a 8000 sq foot facility with two classrooms, a weight room, shower rooms, boxing ring and all of the extras.
