Detailed description is Northside Childcare (Before and After School Care) Northside Methodist Academy established a Childcare Program in 1987 to meet the needs of NMA students before and after school hours.
NMA offers before school care during school days and the hours are 6am - 7:30am.
NMA offers extended care for those students who need to stay after classes end until 6pm.
Drop-in Childcare is provided for students who do not attend Childcare on a regular basis but are enrolled at NMA.
As of now, we offer two different programs:.

Our Preschool Childcare program (K-3 to K-5) "The Forest" is a place where children's imaginations can run wild and they can explore the world around them through painting, singing, dress up, and centers.
When children sit under the big "Tree Imagination", God's word will be brought to life with special characters and puppet shows.

Our After School program (1st-6th) "The Chill Zone" was created to provide an exciting and fun-filled afternoon.
Your child will have a blast participating in games, arts & crafts, relays, etc.
During this time they will have the opportunity to play video games, in the Chill Zone, get or buy a snack at the "Soda Shop", or visit the homework zone.
Ath the homework zone, your child will have the opportunity to work on his/her homework and a tutor will be available for help and/or questions.
Every Friday,we will have a special day such as: movie in the gym, special snacks, surprise guests, etc..
