Detailed description is I created Northern Waves on site wedding hair styling service to assist bride's and their parties on her special day to enjoy friends, family, slippers, robes, and coffee in the comfort of their own surroundings. I also rent a chair in a salon here in Traverse called Massaggio’s Salon. This is where I provide cuts, colors, waxing, hair extensions…and pretty much anything else that pertains to hair. I recently started Northern Waves because of my many years of experience working in a high end salon in downtown Traverse City where on a normal Saturday anything less then 5 wedding parties on that day was considered a “slow day”. I decided to branch off on my own so I can spread my love of hair and people to everyone. . . So, what do I have to offer? I have 10 years experience in this industry. I absolutely can say that I love my job and could never see myself retiring. I keep up to date with wedding trends while keeping knowledgeable on vintage flare. I have been trained by some of the leading names from coast to coast in all areas of hair.
