The school is operated by a private company under contract with the county, Northern Bedford County School District, Inc.HistoryNBC became a reality in 1957 with the jointure of three high schools into one. Classes were held in the three high schools until construction of the current High School was completed on May 8, 1963 for a cost of $1.25 Million Dollars.
