Detailed description is North Point Youth is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising godly men. We are a Christian based ministry to middle school boys. . It is a 501C3 corporation, located in Palatka, Fl.. Our main area of influence is through the game of basketball.. North Point Youth mentors middle school boys using the game of basketball. It is our goal to raise godly men so that they can influence our world for Jesus Christ.. We are guided by a core group of godly men and an administrative board. . The boys enter the program in the fifth grade. They participate in Bible study, prayer and worship.. After one year, they enter basketball tournaments as a travel team.. Our hope is that they will return as junior mentors when they enter high school. . Our youth must know that they are special. . -They are created by God in His image. . -Their lives are important and are blessings to the whole world: bringing order out or chaos . -They are invested with power from their Creator to impact the world for Him.. -Girls must be treated with respect and as equals because they also bear the image of God. -Sin is not trusting God's character and promises as revealed in His Holy Word.. -If they do not maintain a close relationship with God they will intentionally or intentionally harm their brothers and sisters .
