BIO: The No Nasty Food Kit was an idea I thought of after the birth of my second daughter Lacey.
I had been making clean foods throughout my pregnancy trying to keep healthy and avoid the unwanted kilos.
Towards the end of my pregnancy i was very tired chasing my almost two year old Summa around it was exhausting.
After Lacey was born i didn’t want to leave the house too often as she was very demanding and I was finding it difficult to keep Summa occupied, so we started baking.
The only problem was after making the cakes i wouldn’t want her to eat them knowing they were full of overly processed sugar and those nasty numbers! Summa was also going through her terrible two food tantrums and only wanted “treats” or food she approved of.
I didn’t want her to eat BAD FOODS and i wanted to sneak good things into her, so we started to make clean treats.
I also wanted to increase her vegetable intake and set myself a challenge of sneaking it into her favourite food chocolate and cupcakes! I then started telling my friends all about it as alot of them were trying to either eat clean or reduce their child’s nasty number intake.
As the ingredients were so expensive to purchase separately to make one recipe my friends were hesitant.
